"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something" - (Edmund Everett Hale)
Safeplace volunteers give over 10,000 hours a year to help families who are suffering because of violence in the home. Whether it’s picking up donations, maintenance at one of our facilities, court advocacy or taking out the trash, our volunteers are committed to making a life a little better. You can join our volunteer network and truly help make this community a better place to live. Contact our volunteer coordinator, Heath Haddock, at 1-256-767-3076 or E-mail at
